      <image:caption>I started practicing yoga 8 years ago purely by accident, I was curious to see what my wife was doing on Monday evenings, little did I know that on that Monday evening July 2016 my life would change forever. I enjoyed the physical practice but learning to be present and just connecting with my breath was just so beautiful. Monday evenings couldn’t come round quick enough. I then went to my local studio and I noticed a yoga foundation course, so I enrolled on that to deepen my knowledge of yoga. It was whilst on the course that I was told that I could continue to do the teacher training, so I enrolled at the start in June 2017. Having completed my teacher training, my journey in to teaching has took a bit of time as I didn’t want to rush into teaching yoga as I was still really on a self discovery journey. I now feel that the time is right and really want to introduce yoga to people who like me didn’t know too much about it. I would also like to invite guys to learn about this magical ancient practice.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>I started practicing yoga in 2016 and it quickly became my go-to exercise for fitness, flexibility and strength.  I soon found that the benefits of practicing yoga were so much more and it became integral to my physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.  Over time, I found that I wanted a deeper understanding of the benefits that I found through yoga and so undertook my teacher training course.  I completed the 200hr Teacher Training Course with Ambra Vallo at the end of 2023 and it was one of my best and most rewarding achievements.  I mainly teach Hatha Raja Vinyasa Krama, a beautiful practice with incorporates raja yoga - yoga of the mind, hatha yoga - the physical practice of the body, vinyasa is the flow of the practice through different asanas and krama is the system of sequencing that builds up to a peak pose focusing on the flexibility, strength and openness required for the peak pose of the sequence. When I'm not practicing or teaching yoga, I'm teaching English at a vocational college in Birmingham and spending time with my beautiful, amazing daughter and 2 fabulous Bengal cross cats.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>I have loved movement my whole life, having done ballet and gymnastics since I was a tot until my late teens. I first practised yoga in my 20s and returned to it in earnest after having my two children. I completed my 200hr teacher training in 2018 and have since undertaken additional formal trainings that include whole body strength &amp; mobility and modern Vinyasa with Jason Crandell, sequencing with Jason and with Adam Husler; and applied anatomy with Dr Yogi. In February 2024 I became accredited as a breathwork and meditation teacher after completing the 100 hours Just Breathe level 1 training with global teacher Michael James Wong. My teaching takes inspiration from Vinyasa and Forrest yoga, my dance and gymnastics background and the teachings of anatomy experts, to help you move with energy, strength and grace. I am fascinated by the mind-body connection and the need to regulate the nervous system, so my classes have the intention of balancing energy levels, reducing stress &amp; tension and uplifting the spirit.       <image:caption>Hello, my name is Hannah. I am a yoga teacher qualified in the practice of Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow. As with most people, I became drawn to yoga due to the physical benefits of both fitness and developing flexibility. Through this I also found yoga and meditation a necessary vent for dealing with day to day stress. Consistency as well as discipline and a willingness to learn the philosophy of yoga led me to travel to India to complete my 200 hour teacher training at Sampoorna yoga, in Goa. For me I love the freedom and fluidity a vinyasa yoga class brings. Throughout practice I often theme classes around postures that work on a specific element, such as hip openers or back bends. Allowing practitioners to learn and have an awareness of certain movements that compliment each other in order to create the necessary depth and strength resulting in the fullest expression of a pose. Most importantly I encourage students to have an awareness of their own body and to constantly move intuitively. Incorporating pranayama (breath work) with both movement and a period meditation in every class encourages practitioners to feel truly present, connecting both the mind and body. I am constantly learning and practising both on and off the mat. I truly believe yoga is for everyone, and if we all had a little bit of it in our lives the world would be a wonderful place.
